Why

Why am I writing a blog? and why do I call it "you have how many?!"? Well, as for why I'm writing a blog, I'm not real sure. Why I'm calling it that, well I have 5 daughters. That's right, 5. And yes I do know what causes it! It seems I spend much of my life answering to people as to what it's like having 5 children. My husband's yearly company trip, attended mostly by career women whom either have the token one or two, or just have their fabulous career, is so much fun! All the other women seem to think all I can talk about is how many, who's watching them and oh, it must be so hard. Guess what! I can talk about current events, politics, religion, movies, books!! Anything!! But they just stare at me like I'm the freak show! Thank God for unlimited alcohol! Yes, I am the sideshow! The girls are older now, for the most part. The oldest is 21 and a senior in college - YAY!! Next one is 19 and a sophomore. Then theirs the 17 year old senior in high school and then a 15 year old sophomore. We were cruising right along! Oh, how young and energetic we would be when the kids are grown!! Oops! Along comes #5, an 8 year old second grader! Oh, well. We'll still be kinda young. Not feeling so young about now, though. I won't lie and act like our house is a bubbly, happy, fun all the time place, but it's not so bad. Exept for the more than occasional fight over clothing and of course the three weeks when almost all of us are pms'ing, it's a pretty cool life!
